About Us

The Story Tellers was created to service children, parents and teachers in the Northern Virginia area.  Our goal is to bring high quality children's and adolescent books and literary programming to our community.  Our focus is on award winning and nationally recognized books, in addition to culturally diverse books.

The Story Tellers was founded by Kendall Holbrook, Carmen Lofton and Robin Phillips in January 2008.  The store opened on Saturday, March 8, 2008 and the grand opening took place Saturday, April 12, 2008.  More information on store hours is located on the "Contact Us" page.
